With 25 years of combined TV and public relations experience, JoAnn has developed and produced state-of-the-art videos for Fortune 500 and mom and pops.  She also captains zcomm’s media relations team. While living in Florida, JoAnn learned to snake hunt, a skill she’s still waiting to use in the Washington, DC area.

Derek Berry, Manager:

Our go-to-guy for all things news-related, Derek plays a key role on the radio/audio side at zcomm. Specializing in radio tours, Derek’s superstar work involves pitching, booking, facilitating interviews and managing radio-related projects, from alerts to final reports. He loves golf, but hates cauliflower, which is odd considering how much a cauliflower resembles a golf ball.

Mel Sirois, Manager:

Mel is our specialist in booking and managing radio media tours (in English and Spanish), producing radio news releases and other radio services. But what you really want to know about Mel is that she is also a caterer, fitness instructor and marathon runner. So she's really good at running for the phone.

Gary Anderson, Finance and Operations:

At zcomm for more than five years, Gary is the grand-poobah of client and vendor contracts, invoicing and billing.  If it has a dollar sign on it, it’s Gary’s job.  On weekends, Gary and family head to their cabin in the hills of West Virginia, where, incidentally, there is no cell phone signal.  When she wants to get away from numbers, she means it.

Paula Malozowski, Senior Associate:

Paula works on radio promotions, RNR production and distribution, traditional public relations and internal pr. Paula was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, so she is fluent in Spanish which comes in muy handy when talking to Spanish language outlets. Outside of work you might even see Paula on a unicycle!

Patrick Delaney, Associate:

Patrick helps create, design and execute our radio promotions. An excellent man on the phone, his motto is: "Be honest, show up early and wear a tie". Before coming to zcomm, Patrick was a ski instructor in Colorado, where you could find him racing freestyle on black diamond moguls.

Jeffra has a hand in everything -- helping with the Radio team, working on the website, and external marketing. Always upbeat, she is constantly exercising her creativity. A die-hard Redskins fan, Jeffra can be found either watching her team play, or painting landscapes in her studio at home.
